Update Hello All, Hope you are keeping well and looking forward to a superb WARR 2008 this coming September. Everything is well on track and with your continued support, dedication and hard work, I know we can expect a fabulous, well attended WARR extravaganza in Canada's capital this year. Ottawa is a beautiful city - it is a great area for touring and, of course, our yearly "family reunion" will have the same high standards that you have come to expect at WARR. I look forward to seeing everyone in Ottawa! As per the TC meeting in Sydney a reminder that there will not be a WARR mail out this year. All the relevant WARR information can be obtained from the WARR website, http://worldairlineroadrace.org/ WARR needs you, as the elected, designated contact and liaison between WARR and the airlines of the world, to get the information about WARR 2008 to your team, airline, airline publication, notice boards and any possible vantage point to spread the WARR word. Get extra posters and entry forms to your flying crew to handout at counters, airline offices, crew hotels, busses, etc. on their flights and lay overs. Ask staff at check in counters to help distribute entry forms and posters, the more people that know about WARR the better. Headquarters Hotel. The HQ hotel is just about sold out but, the official overflow hotel can accommodate the rest of the WARRiors. World Airline Road Race The Crowne Plaza, WARR's 2008 Headquarters' Hotel, has a hand full of rooms left, but not to worry. WARR 2008 participants can also find accommodation in WARR's official overflow hotel. The Marriot is located right across the street and is joined to the Crowne Plaza underground by a shopping tunnel. Located in this convenient underground complex are a couple of lunch counters, coffee shops, and a few other stores and shops making it convenient for guests in both the Crowne Plaza and the Marriot! http://marriott.com/yowmc?groupCode=warwara&app=resvlink Another reminder about your contact information.
